Located to the west of Yinchuan, about 30km from the city, Xixia Mausoleum, is the Emperor's Tombs of Xixia. There are nine emperors' tombs and over seventy aristocrats graves scattered over an area of 40 square km. The unearthed relics as stone column carved with dragon, stone carved with animal head, lotus shaped column stands, pottery Di Wen, bricks carved with flowers, and the carved animal head used as architecture connectors, show the grand and magnificent view of the emperor's tombs of Xixia. Due to its magnificent scale and original primitive style, it is highly recognised as the Oriental Pyramid.
