Officials from the International Olympic Committee, or IOC, have endorsed the preparations made so far by Beijing for the 2008 Olympic Games.
A six-member delegation led by Hein Verbruggen, Chairman of the IOC Coordination Commission, visited the construction site of the national swimming center for the Beijing Games on Monday.
The IOC officials also had a ride on the city's newly opened fifth ring road.
The Olympic coordinator says the preparation work done by Beijing over the last two years or so fully honors the commitments it made during the Olympic bidding.
